[It's a few hours after midnight that the great flurry of ants finishes their work. Walls rebuilt, furniture settled in...

The dorm is a little larger than most, three rooms and a kitchen circles a common area, and a ladder gives access to a second floor with three more rooms and an empty one. On the floor of the common room is a large tile mosiac of two shades of pink, of a soaring bird of paradise, set on a red background.

The inside is new and almost pristine, the kitchen untouched by food or fire, the inscription on the wall fresh. On the common room table sits twelve spare uniforms, six serrated knives, a coil of rope and a wrapped package of rations sits. In the kitchen is a simple set of cookware and a basic first aid kit, all in plain view, waiting for the first who appeared in their rooms to awaken.

It's a few hours until curfew lifts... the door outside is locked.]
