Either we are successful, receive our wishes, and leave here without a backwards glance towards those who are left behind to be devoured by rock . . . or, we or those we love continue to be lost. We can't predict who will be taken next, Fay. There's no rhyme or reason to it. So far, nobody extremely close to me has—. . . but . . .
