The room he leads you to is fairly wide, with a large section in the middle designated for sparring. There are a variety of racks, holding everything from pole arms to swords, then short tables near the walls with projectiles, clubs and knives.]

Pick up one or two. You may not have any skill in them yet, but something will feel more... right than the rest.
