I didn't say that, did I? Now, if there was someone other than that beast on Pavo that I knew from home, maybe I would be a bit more interested. As it is, Shinra is in the Pillar with his lover. It's all very disappointing.

While remembering things from home could, certainly, give me more information to work with, there's hardly information in the memories I had that would be of any use in a place like this. So, no. it's not that I don't have any investment in it--I'm pretty sure I have a lot of investment in what's going on back home, I do like to be involved, you know.
