[Actually, as far as pain goes . . . it's not exactly comfortable, feeling skin pried open with the delicacy of an unfolding flower, but shouldn't it . . . really hurt more than that?

Something cool brushes over their wounds as they pile close into (and almost on top of) Syaoran, and the feelings are gone, leaving only a feeling of damp and, in Red's case, an odd rigidity behind.]
