It'll have to wait until tonight. There's still work to do today.

A good deal by the sound of it, yes.

Aa . . . River gave us a mission to do for some extra things for the house yesterday.

What is the task?

We need to map out this area.

Were you not intending to do that regardless?

Of course we were, but now we'll get free shit for doing it.

If you will pardon me saying so, that sounds incredibly convenient for a place that far more typically thrives on difficulty and challenge.

He'd have probably changed it if I told him we'd do it anyway. But exploring is gonna be pretty dangerous . . . We don't know what places to avoid yet. That's part of what we're going to look for.

The herbs here are beginning to run low, as well.

We'll mark down locations those grow in too. And anything new we find. Maybe we'll be able to get some more new food.

Thank you.

Also, while it by no means needs to be done all at once, if each of you could bring a container of earth with you upon your return, it would be far easier to begin filling the garden.

We can do that. If we take an empty pillowcase it'll be easy to carry while we're looking around.

And bringing back one bag at a time is certainly easier than spending a day carrying many.

But it'll take longer.

Giving you time to seek out the plants to go in it.

. . . When we're done mapping, we're getting all the dirt we can in.

When you are done, yes. At the moment, given that all we have in the way of plants were brought with their own soil, it is not a priority.
