They were saved from the Old Woman's wrath, just to end up trapped in... this.

I don't know when that first Game was. Only that I wasn't looking through Chrys's eyes, anymore. Maybe... there were years and years in between. You'd know better. Whether his life ended before or after the day the Games began.

But whatever's left of him...of everyone who ended up living in the Sacred City... none of it lies in the peace it should, does it?
