...Y'know. I was really scared aft'r I lost m'moth'r. Was sure, with th'seas bein' so dang'rous, I'd lose Dad too. But he told me I need'd t'be brave and move f'rward, or I'd always b'scared. And that brave people're just scared ones that know how t'keep movin'. Lotta things were hard, n'scary, but I r'membered that and kept goin'. Ev'n aft'r th'accident, I didn't let fear keep me off th'boat, and went back t'the sea soon as I could.
