Other than the Games, there are dangerous animals; the most dangerous we've found are killer bipedal lizards called raptors. Smart pack hunters with claws the length of your arm on their feet and teeth to match. They don't come this far east very often, but they're dangerous. There are some big carnivore fish in the lake, but you probably shouldn't be worrying about that. Bearbees -- sort of furry, about the size of your head -- aren't dangerous on their own, but they can swarm; we hunt them sometimes because their blood's sweet, like honey. There are bigger food lizards north of here that we hunt sometimes; not too dangerous unless provoked, but you want to wait for backup before you try to take one on.
Non-creature dangers...west of here there's a forge near some lava flows, but it's pretty obvious even if you can't see; it gets very hot if you're close. A few rivers, I'll show you where they are; I don't know if you want to get your wings wet if you can help it.
