You were jobless? What does it explain?

Ah. A couple days ago Dandy was angry with me, since I apparently had gotten his brother convicted of murder. His brother is--er, was my boss.

I thought it was ridiculous, as I'd just remembered him coaching me through part of my first trial.

But. . .[more frowning] this just confirmed I lost my job because of that conviction, and I finally decided to go work for the person actually responsible.

. . .

Wait a minute. The person responsible for the murder, or the person responsible for the conviction?

--Responsible for the conviction!! Or, helping me get it, I guess. I don't actually remember how the trial turned around yet.

H-he was the original defendant, Phoenix Wright.

. . . so you're working for your defendant? Isn't that a conflict of interests?

He's not my client anymore, since he's been cleared. He used to be a defense attorney himself, but something happened and he was disbarred.

And his office is. . .called the Wright Talent Agency. I'm not even sure if it's an official law office. Whatever the case, it explains why I'm with his daughter during the other trials I remember, instead of my bo--Mr. Gavin.

(That doesn't sound like a law office at all.)

. . .

I see. At least you have . . . clarification now?

His daughter is my assistant and a part-time magician that waves her magical panties around.

. . .

So yeah, clarification is one positive note on this.

The Kaitou Kid. Ahh, he still got away at the end, but I stopped him from stealing his target.

Well, prevention of a crime is just as great as resolving one. And a teleporting thief? I'm guessing it was some sort of illusion, right?

Mm! Something like that, at least. Distracting the crowd, hiding his outfit . . .

It feels like he went all out, a little. He did the entire heist in front of a crowd full of people.

A crowd? This guy's either stupidly confident or just. . .stupid. . .

So how did he do it?

That's REALLY impressive, actually. Both sides.

He's a pretty decent rival, of sorts.
