Haha! I don't actually remember being taught this ... I'm just trying to piece together what I was doing at the time. I remember ... being on the offensive, first, like this-- [does a few careful strokes to demonstrate, high, middle, low] and then... on the defensive, blocking like so... [showing a parry]

[Then stops and shakes his head] ... Really, I don't know what I was thinking.
