"Thy unit is thy family". All that. Basically we just take it to mean that Corvus and by extension Lynx, the guys in gray, are family. They're the people we can depend on most. Other teams are fine and all but when it comes push to shove in a game, people are going to take sides with their own, you know? So it's something you have to keep in mind.
The judges like to see us at each others' throats but for the most part, teams work together outside of games through trade and whatnot. But judges also emphasize how closely related we are to our own team.
Which is why we have that rule. Never throw a game. You give up, call it quits, purposefully lose a game, you're not just stick your neck out for the judges to go at--you're sticking the necks of your team as well.
