[manipulating a few thousand degrees of molten silica from a few feet away will give a person a healthy appreciation of the cooler temperatures of the regular cave areas. Miranda is wearing a light weight peasant shirt and her sturdy leather pants, and her hair is pulled back from her face with the headband from Red, while a recently acquired handkerchief is tied securely over her mouth and nose.

The glass that she's working with at the moment is a hollow globe roughly the size of a small cantaloupe and opened at the far end as she sets it back into the furnace to heat again so she can start spinning it flat.

Several other glass pieces are cooling down in a second oven from the day before.]

[Most of the molten glass on the floor is poisonous now... simply out of matter-of-factly aborted creations of things gone awry, a spin being to fast, timing too slow, or simply too close to where it would burn FOREVER. The splatters go straight across the floor at some points as they were flung in deadly frustration by Bianchi. (More than one member of Pyxis, I'm sure, had to scramble and duck to avoid burny death.)

But now. BUT NOW, she has only finished one thing after several days of trying, after a great deal of trial and error, even having watched it. It is an uneven and wobbly low bowl with a bit of an accidentally fancy curve to the lip. The imperfections of the materials and tools with inexperience mean a mottled, smoky appearance...

But she is inordinately proud of it, sitting, hovering and waiting for the billionty degree molten glass to cool enough to touch.

Unknown to her, at this point, anyone who eats off of it will be poisoned no matter who makes the meal~]

If we had paint, little skulls would make it so cute.
