[Jinx shuffles the cards while Kaito leans forward on the table to explain]
Okay, so there's fifty-two cards in a deck. Four suits--two black, two red--clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts. They're numbers 2 to 10 and then there's the royals--Jack, Queen, King, and Ace. The dealer-- [nods head to Jinx] --deals the cards. Five cards for this game. You have a chance to swap out some of the cards you have for better cards but after that, you start betting.
The goal is to get one of the following, going in order from better to best: Highest card. One pair. Two pairs. Three of a kind. Straight--all cards in numerical order. Flush--all cards the same suit. Full house--one pair, one three of a kind in the same hand. Four of a kind. Straight flush--all cards of the same suit in numerical order. Royal straight flush--all face cards (Jack, Queen, King, Ace) of the same suit.
