It didn't start off bad, you know? The broken one... she did try to help, like she said. She picked Feathers' reflection to work on me. But the crack... the one I kept hitting, kept cutting into me-- [taps his temple with two fingers, keeping them there after the second tap] --it was half-healed. Like resetting a bone.
It hurt. Hurt more than something physical I've felt--can remember feeling anyway. And it broke... in three. Not just in half. It was delicate work... there were cracks all throughout the pieces... she shifted them, moved them... I saw things in the mirrors of her room--they made the walls.
But it hurt too much, and a piece was fragile. Too fragile.
