Some Judges run games more often than others. Like we rarely see Angel anymore.

[pauses briefly, then nods]

Yes, Angel. She looks like a young girl and usually does mazes. Although she's taken Blanks before too, the ones she thinks are cute. But when that happens, her brother, the Waterbearer, helps us get them back.

Yes. I can go over all the Judges, if you like.

Information like that is free, afterall.

Okay.

King is in charge as far as we know. He rarely runs games. He encourages us to be loyal to our teams and backstab anyone else. It's something he rewards. However, he will step in on occasion to prevent rule breaking or tantrums by other Judges.

Queen runs games that are shallow and sexually oriented. Kissing games, dressing up in attractive clothing or stripping, cuddling. Things like that.

Surgeon can revive the dead and heal injuries outside games. Lepus has a pact with him in exchange for helping him out. If you lose his games, there's a penalty. He will take someone from your team to experiment on.

His daughter is Mirror. She started out like I described before. But now she is whole and malicious. Picking very purposely and knowingly at your issues. Her games are about us. She'll do thinks like...change your gender. Or the kind of person you are. Give you someone else's skills or powers.

Haunted's games are all tricks so far. Where she makes it seem like something bad will happen but that's not actually the case. Toys with emotions.

Shadow tends to do simple games. Telling truths or taking dares. Or playing a game where you guess who did what where.

Uhm lets see, who else....

Am i going too fast?

Solider likes being loud and manly and drunk. Lots of punching things and drinking.

Messenger prefers word games. He'll also visit the dorms at times, knocking. He doesn't appear physically but you can hear his voice. Judges usually don't manifest outside the arena.

Beauty likes us to grow from pain. She does things like...give us pets, then takes them away. Makes us think we're in a safe game, then hand it over to a dangerous judge.

Gambler does games of chance and card games. He's not a type to trust, he enjoys cheaters.

Veiled varies pretty widely. So I can't really pin her down. Her games can be dangerous, though.

Graces are like a bunch of giggly girls. Kissing games and things like that from them too.

Waterbearer is kind of awkward and usually is just trying to clean up after Angel, who I already described.

Foreman makes you build things. He also will take Blanks away sometimes. And they uh.

Turn into giant ants while they're gone.

The Librarian rarely runs games. But he's straight forward about things if nothing else.

Storyteller runs games based on stories. Sometimes this is fun. Sometimes this is horrible. Because there are all kinds of stories in the world. She likes to narrate herself.

The Twins haven't done many games but they did a game about cooking. And we got to eat lots of delicious food. So they're fine in my book so far until they screw us over.

The Dude likes games about...partying and music and having fun. He's pretty relaxed and good natured.

Ah, the Gamemaster only ran one game but it was brutal. Each team had a set number of points. You could win more points by playing a card. Or lose points if a card was played against you successfully. If two teams played against each other, it canceled out. But the cards worth the most points? Bucket of terapedes. Lose an eye. Fast kill. Slow kill.

Some teams were repeatedly slaughtered. That game caused a lot of bad blood and anger.

Last ah... Trickster. And Flowers. They go together...

Any questions before I start?

The Trickster gave the first game any Blank can remember. Explaining it will give you a feel for him.

It had three rounds.

First rounds had boxes and you picked a box and carried out the task given. Stuff like dumping itching powder on yourself.

Second round, more boxes. This time with gross stuff to eat.

Three round, no boxes. Kill someone to win.

We sated his thirst for blood with a suicide instead. That isn't something that would work anymore though. Other games from him... War Rooms. You have to pick what other team to protect. You don't have contact with them during the game. So some people were protected twice and others not at all. Those not protected were crushed to death. Capturing Blanks in big tubes and making us vote out of pairs which of the two to kill and how.

That's how Trickster's games were.

Yes.

Sometimes though...

In one game, a moth appeared. She was called Flowers. She said...I invoke the Old Woman. And that made him listen to her. Although even still, he wheedled around the condition she set and lives were still lost. Grudges harbored between teams. But she seemed to have truly tried to save our lives.

Except...ah...

She also did things like offer to a team--these terapedes will eat the large kill you just made to feed your team or this person on another team.

Trickster's last two games though...Flowers moved against him. In one she made it so the endangered Blanks could be mercy killed. Swift deaths instead of long, painful ones. He was upset and she taunted him. No one is scared of you.

Then his final game after that... We were warned ahead of time about the challenges that awaited us in our team journals. We don't know who put those entries in. As the game went on his face changed. Becoming more and more simple. His mind regressed, the game regressed. The walls were easily knocked over. Nothing truly deadly. Then he turned to dust.

We have no idea who she is. Not really. Some guesses, but even those aren't something we can back up.

Ah, and more on Flowers now...

After that, Flowers ran her first game ever. But the Judge who ran it. She was quite disgusting and it seemed as though literally crawling around inside her, infesting her...was trickster. It sounded like him. A voice egging her on. She sounded quite mad and said the game was about Heroes.

The game she ran was terrible. My teammate had to let the other teams break her bones. They left a child in a hot room, chained up. It burned her, where the shackles were. Each room two people, partners, had to be left behind with a cruelty.
