[there is a skinny boy(?) just outside the Lynx dorms, wandering around in a cautious but slightly haphazard manner]

[he occasionally stops to check something out, slow and curious, then moves on. after a few minutes, he catches sight of couple of butterflies and starts to drift vaguely after them, in the general direction of the lake. proooobably not safe]

You're the moron. Even if you talk yourself blue in the face about how bad this place is, do you think a new guy is going to listen to someone not on his team 100% like they will someone they're told to trust and depend on? I said we'd talk to him about it but c'mon man, he literally just woke up.

Besides that, look me in the eye and tell me if any of your new kids were ever that prepared even when you beat the idea into their head about how bad this place can be.

The point is that it's not your damn job! All you're doing is making yourself look like a dick by telling him all this shit while also telling him that I'm doing something that will end up hurting him!

I'm not going to shelter him and hell, our team has some of the most blunt people in this place so just back the hell off and let us take care of our teammate, okay? Appreciate the fact that you helped out the first six of us, but all you're not doing us any favors here.

That's not what I said. Are you selective with your hearing? All I said was that we got this. Be honest, would you really trust anyone else to explain this kind of shit to your team? It's the same for me--for my team and my partners. That's all it is. It's not about you. Just that I wish you'd back the hell down when I ask you nicely from the start.
