At that time, we didn't bear them any particular ill-will...well, most of us didn't. We had a few people on the team who were pretty angry, but we'd have had to be angry at practically everyone, if we'd been angry at anyone, so most of us thought it was better to blame the Judge. I started talking to Geddoe on occasion...he had an idea to make a kind of formal agreement, that teams who accepted it would help each other when they could and not play harshly against each other in the Games unless they had to. I thought it was a good idea, but events seem to have proven otherwise.
I'm going to sidetrack a little, because there's more history before we get to the next part.
