You're gonna blame yourself for believing in someone? That's just sad.

Didn't it seem then to you he was trying hard? I don't know Slick well enough to say anything, he barely talks to me. But you know him. If you truly believed in him, you believed in him.

Misplaced or not, you gave him your belief to help him.

Can't and won't are never the same thing. But if it was inevitable, then there's nothing you can do about it now. And all the I was stupiding in the world won't change what is now, Allen Walker.

What you have to do is face what is now however you can manage with the feelings you have.

I don't know Slick well enough to feel for him. But I do know you. So stop beating yourself up, Allen.
