You trust easily and care easily. Jace had been holding a grudge against Hydra over a game we had no control over, he'd been holding it for months despite claiming that he wasn't.

Think. Why would someone who dislikes our team would approach the new member? The one member who doesn't know he should be wary? Why would he be friendly towards you when he's never been friendly towards any other Hydra?

Both Hydra and Vulpecula are known to be tight-knit. We put our teammates first no matter what and we rarely have internal conflicts, when we do we deal with it quietly.

Jace is manipulative-- getting close to you would easily cause conflict between us because we know him well enough not to trust him. It wouldn't be the first time that relations with Canis cause a team rift.
