You already said you barely talk to Slick. If that's the case, then it definitely wasn't your feelings he was sparing. "It would've been better if it was me instead" is relative. When you make your choices to target a team in a game, your choices for who it's "better" to hurt narrow down fast, don't they?

Should we target Lacerta or Cygnus because they simply take their punishments quietly?

I know hurting the people you care about hurts you more than taking the pain yourself. But if the idea is to take weight off Hydra and Vulpecula's shoulders, then you're going against your own words. If you're hurt, the whole of them will feel it. They may feel exactly the same way as you, so by insisting all orders fall on you, you're causing them what you're trying to escape.

Think carefully. What do you want?
