STORYTELLER CFUW
WE DOIN' THIS.

NEXT WEEK, starting Thursday night (Feb 11th) is the proper start of a Werewolf style CFUW game! By which I mean there will be some cliche werewolf antics happening as well.

I NEED AT LEAST ONE (1) PARTICIPANT FROM EACH TEAM to make this game as fair as possible. IDEALLY, two per a team to you know, give everyone someone to discuss with, but what can you do. OUSTING times are tentatively 8pm-10pm EST. They may be extended or shortened at my discretion (however the actual ousting time can be debated until then, if it can be moved later)

Lots of other details under the cuts, please read!

-This is a full scale in-sabra kind of game. The players will not be whisked away anywhere. For the characters not actively in the game, the sheperd will have a Banned from Talking kind of effect deal going on, so while participants can bitch as much as they want to everyone, they can only go into full detail with other players.

-FOLKS GONNA DIE/HAVE TO KILL OTHERS 8|a and wolves are gonna be ~speshul~ if the whole werewolf theme hasn't clued you in.

-TIME WISE, there will be no Day/Night fast forwarding. Think of it as an IC-Speed wolf: say if one ousting goes up Friday with an IC time of Day: xx Noon, and no other posts pop up? The next game post will happen Day: xx Early evening. That said, normal posts are encouraged between outstings.

-Please remember, if you play two characters, only ONE can actively participate in the game. Choose wisely!

-"Aaaah I want to play in the game but will miss the Ousting!!" THIS IS OKAY, if you sign up with at least another teammate, only one has to be around for the ousting. Of course, the more that show up, the more chances your side has of making a convincing argument, but what can you do? As long as at least one teammate is voting, it is perfectly fine to stick to discussing the game otherwise.

-"I cannot/do not want to really participate/will miss the ousting, but I want my character to help and/or be trauma'd!" THIS IS ALSO OKAY. Even if your character is not actively in the game, they can take part in team punishments and oustings and whatever else you want, they just cannot be involved directly in discussing who is and isn't a wolf. Speaking of:

-Non participants are just as likely to die as participants :|a IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHARACTER HARMED EVER ICly something can just come up/they were in their dorms at the time, whee~

-As I said before, people are likely to die! But as this is an entire weekend, I'm sure no one wants to spend the entire game dead. That would suck :|a

SO after 'death', characters will have the option of temporarily being reincarnated into a host body of Storyteller's (yours) choosing, only it has to be dumb and story related. EXAMPLE: Ikki dies, gets reincarnated into a little pig for the remainder of the game. Hilarity! He can carry about his normal. . .ish. . .business that way. The dead/reincarnated won't remember who or what killed them until they revive properly (your actual dead body will be kept in the arena on display, hooray!)

There will still be a limbo like area for ousted/eaten folks to mingle though.

-There are two teams! Sheep and Wolves. The Wolves are hidden among the sheep.

-Every 'night', the sheep will vote out who they think the wolf is.

-Also, every night the remaining wolves get to 'eat' a sheep.

-If the sheep end up voting wrongly, and the total number of wolves becomes greater or equal to the number of remaining sheep, the wolves win. If the sheep vote out all the wolves, the Sheep win!

-The only real rule here is the Honesty System - you are never allowed to OOCly let people know which side you're on. ICly, you're allowed to say whatever, as it's not like people will believe you :|a For Wolves, an IC effect will be in play that will prevent folks from spilling their hearts.
-Bracers limits will be in full effect! Almost everyone will be slightly weaker, senses will be dulled (hearing, super smell, etc), all that good stuff :)

	Sssooo, Cygnus/Orion! that is no longer my "I will be busy all weekend weekend"--so, I'll dump in Charlie or Chaz wherever necessary, but I think I will be around for mmm, every day except maybe Saturday on there. 	If I am not mistaken, standard Wolf games tend to be 3-5 days long. So JST Friday morning - Tuesday morning. Days 2 and 3 fall on our Saturday/Sunday, which is faaairly doable? At least, it's doable enough that I'm personally considering it. (Reply to this) (Parent)

What Kirk said! Anywhere from 3-5 days depending on how voting goes. As for discussion posts, the first is going up Thursday evening (around 8pm) and will be open for 24 hours. After that, the Day/Discussion posts will go up around 11pm EST, open until the next ousting. Of course the players are encouraged to make private posts to each other too (though it's technically talking in person but. You know.)

I am on the fence! On the one hand, two of the first three days fall on my weekend, which is about as good as I'm gonna get ouside of a speed wolf game. And the otehr days are falling during a time of the school year where I'm highly unlikely to have tons of classes, and also during the time when I'm at a school where I can use my own computer and have access to IRC. ... buuut. The last two days will definitely fall on work days, and it's entirely possible that I'll miss an ousting once or twice.

TL;DR I am a maybe. I will know for sure on Sunday/JST Monday if my schedule will permit me to play. If I can't, I DO definitely want to be involved re: punishments and trauma and the like. Because that sounds like fun. :D Also, this mostly applies for Kirk, since he'd be the character I play with. Watanuki can be involved in trauma, but I really don't want to play CFUW with him. Noodle is too excitable.

	OKAY UPDATE on Kirk and Orion: Kirk will play! I will miss some oustings, buuut I think Chaz is also going to play for Orion, and between the two of us we should have everything covered. :\|d I think Mitsuru might be playing too, with the caveat that she'll be around even less than me. idk, ask her for details.
