What exactly are the prompts?
When your team assembles in the private communities you will recieve instructions. I will, however, say that each round of prompts is created to test you in a different way as an author and an artist.
How many spaces are there?
80 writer, 16 artist, and 6 alternate spots. If we get a ridiculous amount of applications we may chose to create more spaces... but for the sake of sanity we are setting the numbers now.
If more people apply then there are spaces how are you going to chose who gets a spot and who doesn't?
It's first come first serve. If you apply first you've got a spot. The last 6 people to apply out of the 102 will be given the option to be alternates. If we don't have enough people the last 6 that want to play the game will be the alternates.
Why are the posts going to be anonymous?
We decided that the fairest way in which to post entries is to post them anonymously. That way the rating is in no way swayed by the author or artist themself.
How do I promote my work if the posts are anonymous?
Feel free to pimp your work but do try to keep it anonymous... even if that means making a fake journal or having a friend post your work for you.
Are the games only for well-knowns authors and artists?
Not in the least! That is exactly why we decided to post entries anonymously.
How are the teams composed?
There are two teams... each team represents an era.
Marauder’s Era, or 1960 - 1977): This era spans from the time the Marauders were born until the year they left school.
Post-Hogwarts and beyond (1977 - ?): This era stretches from the year they left school until infinity, really.
What about NC-17 entries? How will you comply to LJ's new policies?
All NC-17 work will be F-Locked and marked as adult content. However, if for some reason this community does get deleted everything will be mirrored on the respective IJ communities.
