Music Soothes the Savage Beast Who: Grace and Open Setting: Morning, Block B, Music Room
When the day broke and Grace heard rain pounding against the roof of the prison, she figured that it was a good day to stay in bed and get a little extra rest. However, after only another hour, she realized that she wasn't going to be getting anymore sleep. She was far too used to getting up early, even in her 'normal' life, to truly sleep in.
After she got up and showered, she decided to explore the prison a little more. With the excitement of the past two days, she hadn't really had the chance to do so. Eventually, she ended up on B block, in the music room. She couldn't help but smile at the memory of her oldest girl, Helen, playing the piano in their old home during the holidays, but Grace still doubted that she'd be able to hear that for a very long time. Even if this place was truly what it claimed to be, she wouldn't be getting out of here for a while.
She had some minor ability with the piano herself. Her parents had sent her to piano lessons for years when she was a child, after all. Her mother thought that every young lady should be able to play one instrument well. Helen had gotten the real ability to play music, but Grace had some minor talent as well.
After thinking on it for a moment, she looked around for a piano book to pick a piece to play music from. Once she had it, she settled at the piano, opening the book and picking a slower, melodic piece before starting to play, music filling the air.
