That earned her a smile, more to reassure against the sigh than anything else. “I’d be glad to listen. Pretty decent at the listening thing actually.” Jeremy found her interesting, curious what she’d done, how she fit in with the structure of things.
What was interesting to Kasper was that Jeremy had barely flinched at the sight of her. Most people around the building must’ve had some inclination to get the fuck away when she was around. Maybe it was that he was just too new to know the trouble she had really caused. That or he was really something else. The kind of something that she just had to chase to find out.
“Maybe you could tell me about yours,” she added, her smile widening as she finally took a few steps back. That wall still needed work and no matter how bad she wanted to just get lost in their own little world, she couldn’t just leave what she started unattended to.
“I could probably do that. You could tell me your name too,” Jeremy said, letting her step away from him again. He didn’t mind, just tucked his hands into his pockets comfortably, watching her still though, not leaving.
She laughed a tad at the suggestion. “They call me Kasper,” she informed, taking a turn on her heel, “Just Kasper.”
