That definitely made Kasper laugh. It had been a while since she laughed so naturally without forcing something amusing to herself, which usually ended up pissing someone right off. In a way it made her feel good, better than she had felt in a long time. At the same time, that weird feeling swelled. That medication was definitely something else. Something she hadn't had in a very long time.
"Well Jeremy," she replied with a bit of a grin, "I like the way you think." That was the other thing that had her smiling. In all her life, there had never been such words that meant so much about her than what had just passed between them. In that moment, she was truly Kasper. Or perhaps she was truly Konnie, just for this one and only moment.
She took a couple steps forward, pulling off the small mask from her face and placed it on the end of the deconstructed car in the middle of the room. "So, I take it you're from the great she-devil city of New York?" Her question marked a hint of pride in her voice, even if her choice of words seemed otherwise.
