When Reggie would think back on this later, he would know that he was acting like an ass as well. He should have thought of protecting his hands or something, especially since he had made fun of Jason a little the first night that they met for basically doing the same thing, although he had simply been trying to work out excess energy, while Reggie was working out rage. Reggie didn't get truly mad all that often, and, frankly, he wasn't too familiar with how to deal with it.
He stopped when Jason asked him to, letting him put the gloves on him. Even from the few punches that he had launched, his hands were stinging a bit, but he wasn't even thinking about that at the moment. When Jason smiled at him, Reggie couldn't stop himself from smiling back a little, even if he was still pissed. "I know I'm being kind of stupid right now," he said, taking another slightly measured swing at the bag, continuing to grin as it connected. The gloves did keep his hands a bit protected, thankfully, but he could still feel the weight of the bag when he hit it. "I don't usually have to deal with people that are that fucking hardheaded," he said, punctuating the last three words with three more punches.
