Carmel noted the interaction and lack of it from the part of Becka and Ryan, and it made her very curious, but there was no way she was asking right now. She'd mull it over for awhile before she decided if she really wanted to know right now. "There probably is somewhere," Carmel agreed. "Considering wherever we are, we get a reasonable amount of sun so far, even if it isn't as warm as I might expect for this time of year." Made her think they were at least somewhat up north.
Carmel wrinkled her nose slightly. "Some people really do work themselves up," she said. "Never have been one of those, really, but I doubt I'd be pleased to go in the stocks, so I don't know," she said with a shrug. She eyed the distance Becka had paced out, and urged her about six more inches down. "I think that'll work," she said. "Are we straight in line, there? A rhombus would be amusing if harder to keep in place."
