Charlie had no idea who 'Dom' was, or what had happened to him, and he filed that part away to ask about some other time. If things were happening to people, that was important to know. Right now, though - seeing Wren actually put someone into the stocks... It was like watching a lamb lead a lion to slaughter and really he just wanted to run over there and shake the girl.
"I'm never surprised at anything," he told Becka. "Not when it comes to people being in control - especially not like this. The more I learn about things here, the less I like them. And I've only been here since yesterday." He figured he still had a whole lot to learn - and he didn't anticipate liking any of it.
"I agree with Leandro though - about checking your room," he said, nodding to the other man once more, especially for the recommendation he had been given, which he thought was generous of Leandro, all things considered.
