Becka leaned a little against Leandro, finding the way he just easily put his arms just over her shoulders to be something of a comfort in that moment. She looked at Charlie as he spoke, nodding along with what he was saying. She gave Leandro a soft but grateful smile at the introduction. "No, I totally get that, and I do agree to a point. This is wrong, but it's not really all that black and white. And you can't really be that surprised that they didn't give an explanation of their infractions? I mean, they threw us all in here without revealing what we were each in prison for in the first place. Who knows who's lying or who's telling the truth, or how dangerous anyone in here really could be."
She dropped one of her arms, putting it around Leandro's back as she stepped just a little closer to him. Her voice was small, showing the worry and little bit of fear that was definitely starting to build up in her now. Because now she really was questioning everyone, and she hated that. They wouldn't have put people in here that were really, truly dangerous to others, would they?
Becka bit her lip, nodding at Leandro's advice and shuddering at the rest. She really didn't want to think that anything like that might have happened, and so she focused on the advice. "Yeah, Adam already told me to do that, and I will. I haven't noticed anything missing yet, none of my personal stuff that came with my from prison is missing, anyway." And she was sure she would have noticed that because she'd spent some time last night reading through her letters from home, looking at the little baubles she'd been allowed to have in her cell.
"Yeah, the stocks are pretty ridiculous. There has to be a better means of punishment, but... Hey, don't give them a hard time for agreeing to go with the punishment. For some people it is black and white. For some people, when there is a crime, you face the consequences, and since they didn't confess, or at least not what the Admins are considering a real confession I'm guessing, these are the consequences. We're not in control here, they are," she said softly. "And after what happened to Dom, there's genuine concern for what They might do to any of us," she added, voice barely above a whisper. It was something she'd found herself worrying about since Carmel had told her about Dom being tasered and dragged out of here.
Becka glanced over at Mazie when she heard the other woman, sighing when she saw Adam charging over to her. "She's very passionate," she agreed, though her tone was concerned. She didn't know the other woman very well, but she knew that it would upset Adam if something happened to her.
