here--put this on and look fabulous
Characters: Autumn and Mazie Setting: her room, etc, morning!
Autumn saw the pool. And, considering that? She knew exactly what to do. She went through the swimsuits, and grabbed one brightly colored bikini, and one black one with silver ring fastenings on it. Then she headed immediately to Mazie's room. Pounding on the door, she bounced on the balls of her feet. "Mazie!! Up and at 'em, girl!"
Mazie had been up and on the computer for a little while, which was surprising because she wasn't usually awake at this point in time. It was helping, though, since Autumn was banging on the door and even though Mazie would have answered it even if she'd been in bed, the extra time to wake up had her smiling at the sound instead of the initial half-awake reaction she would have had otherwise. Up from the computer on her desk, Mazie headed to the door and opened it, hand on her hip while she grinned at Autumn. "Good morning to you too..." She said, taking a quick scan of what was in Autumn's hands, which turned her happy, pleasant look to pure confusion. "...What are you holding?"
"Bathing suits!" Autumn announced. "Because there's totally a pool now!" she said, bouncing again. Then she grinned at Mazie and advanced on the girl, bodily pushing her back into the room. "And I brought you a sexy swimsuit!" she said, dangling the black one in front of the blonde. "See? I thought it was very you." she said.
Oh ok, so this was happening. This part she was fine with, the Autumn pushing her back into the room part, and she let the door swing to a close again, happy to really go anywhere with Autumn. Until she saw the swimsuit that was supposed to be hers and it stopped her in her tracks. "You want me to wear that? You sure that's for me and not you?" Sexy was right and it instantly made Mazie feel like she definitely couldn't pull that off.
"Absolutely." Autumn said with a firm nod. "You, are going to put that on, and you are going to look fabulous. It's going to set off your tattoos, I'm positive you've got some hot sunglasses to go with...you're going to be a knockout, thank you very much! And no, this one's for me." she said with a wink, holding up the multicolored scraps of fabric she planned on wearing.
Oh. Multi-colored scraps of fabric. Wow. Definitely feeling a little bit better about her own swimsuit now and a lot conflicted about how much she would not be able to stop looking at Autumn in those bits of fabric. "I'm definitely not even a contender if you're gonna be wearing that thing." Mazie was positive she wasn't going to feel comfortable in any swimsuit at all, but she was actually kind of excited, once she got past the stunned part, to see Autumn in her own. The girl was confident enough to pull off something like that and so yeah, Mazie wanted to see it.
Autumn stuck her tongue out at Mazie, winking. "Hush. No more low self esteem out of you, gorgeous, now scoot! That bathing suit isn't going to put itself on!" she insisted, putting her own suit down on the couch. Then, she reached down to grab the bottom of her shirt, to pull it up over her head and off.
Yeah. Like going anywhere was going to happen right now. Mazie wasn't exactly stealthy in real-life and so even though her first intention was to obey Autumn's command and go put her suit on, Autumn was shirtless and her feet didn't work. Not a whole lot worked other than her eyes, which were pretty much glued to the girl stripping in her bedroom.
Autumn reached behind herself and unhooked her bra, before she tugged the bikini top and held it loosely up to cover her chest, though it didn't necessarily cover very well. Feeling Mazie's eyes on her, she looked coyly over her shoulder. "You want to come get the ties done for me?" she asked sweetly.
Holy Hell... It definitely took Mazie a minute to even hear Autumn and the recognition came with a jolt as she turned her eyes back up to Autumn's face and not other parts of her that were barely covered and she'd actually just witness completely uncovered. The recognition did come with heated cheeks, though, because when the hell did it become ok for her to just stare at Autumn changing in her room? She'd feel weird if people stared at her changing in anyone's room, but it was just so damn difficult not to, especially when she was that adorable, looking all cute-like over her shoulder and such. This girl was gonna kill her.
"Uh...sure, yeah, I can..yup." She put her own swimsuit somewhere, floor, desk, wherever it fell really, and headed over to Autumn. Reaching for the ties, she tied them as best possible, securing them probably a little stronger than usual, though the action was more subconscious.
Autumn smiled, reaching up to tug her hair over her shoulder to get it out of Mazie's way. When she was done, she turned around, staying in close to the girl. She leaned even a little closer. "Thank you." she said, voice a sweet sort of murmur.
Yup. She was pretty sure she lost the ability to move her legs at all then. Autumn, Autumn, had just undressed and put on the skimpiest bathing suit Mazie had ever seen...right in front of her eyes. And now she was like...inches maybe away from Mazie, who had never felt so just..dumb in her life. Why weren't the words happening? Didn't her mouth just..make words happen? Nodding mutely for a moment, Mazie tried not to let her eyes cast too far down from Autumn's face. "...Hey, anything I can do to help...you know I will."
"And you say you aren't sweet." Autumn said playfully, happy to play with the sexual tension in the room. Mazie was special, and with her lack of experience, Autumn was taking things very carefully, one small step at a time. She then unzipped her jeans, and popped the button on it, so she could get the bottoms on.
Was she ready for this? Mazie couldn't make a clear answer come to mind. Part of her really, really didn't want to leave, really wanted to stay here and drink this in, to paint serious memories in her mind. But another part of her thought she might need to go to the bathroom and take her time changing for the sake of her own sanity. "You...want me to leave?" She ended up asking, not really sure what else to do. Maybe Autumn helping to make the decision would help Mazie accept whatever it was.
"That's up to you." Autumn told her, leaving the ball in her court on that score. She hadn't been wearing shoes or socks, so she stepped out of her jeans, and hooked her thumbs in the waistband of her panties. She didn't make a move, however, eyes not on the remaining part of her suit, but on Mazie.
Ok, so...maybe she wasn't ready for this full frontal yet, but she also wasn't willing to leave. So instead of doing either, she went for her suit and took her own shirt off, body free of a bra from the start. "Who needs to change in the bathroom anyway, right?" She asked, not sure this was the right answer, but it sort of ended up seeming like the only answer, even if she wasn’t nearly as comfortable in her body as Autumn seemed to be.
Autumn smiled as Mazie walked away, and made quick work of getting the bottoms of her bikini on, tying the sides with tight bows. She kept her eyes on Mazie, however, not letting them wander. "Right. I mean, technically, we could always fall back on 'it's nothing I haven't seen in the mirror'." she said, ever so gently teasing.
"Yeah, right, something we've seen before in the mirror.” She wasn't exactly bold enough to request help from Autumn in securing the hook on her top and after a moment of struggling with it, she ended up giving up and reaching for the bottoms. She did glance back at Autumn, sort of half turned from her as she pulled her pajama bottoms off and replaced them pretty quickly with the bikini bottoms. "There weren't any one-pieces wherever you picked up these swimsuits? Starting to think you’ve secretly got a stash of all the cool stuff here, you always seem to be the one finding it," She teased in hopes that she could lighten her own mood and get her mind out of the strange haze it seemed to be in.
"Oh, there were. But what's the fun in that?" Autumn asked. "Cover you all up? Psh. Noooo thank you." she said, walking closer so she could make small, minor adjustments to Mazie's swimsuit. "As for having a secret stash, nope. I'm just lucky." she said brightly. She flopped on Mazie's bed, looking up at the girl in question. "I'm going to start flicking you every time you diss yourself." she warned lightly.
Mazie got lost for another moment in the realization that Autumn was sprawled in a tiny, tiny bikini on Mazie's own bed. Yeah, that mental snapshot got stored real quick. Apparently Autumn wanted to see her like this so maybe this bikini wasn't terrible. It was stylish in a way she appreciated, metal bits and black and that was helping her like it more along with the fact that Autumn had chosen it. "Why is requesting a one-piece dissing myself? Maybe I like one-pieces?" She retorted, now thankful that Autumn had fixed the suit. It wasn't uncomfortable to wear, it was just sort of uncomfortable to be in. "I don't go swimming...ever, really, either and I'm pretty sure all the swimsuits I've ever really owned were one-pieces."
"Not that part. It was the 'yeah, right' part of the 'something we've seen before in the mirror' thing." Autumn told her, smiling. "Unless I took that wrong, in which case, I will apologize, and still flick you if I catch you dissing yourself, because you're awesome, beautiful, and you seem to be your own worst enemy on that score. So, I'm going to be your best cheerleader ever." she said, wiggling her fists up by her shoulders like pretend pompoms. "Yaaay!" She then propped herself on her elbows, looking over Mazie. "The point isn't to actually swim. The point is to look damn good."
The yeah right part? Honestly, Mazie didn't even remember saying it. "Whatever you heard wasn't...self-deprecation or whatever. I'm..not even sure what I said," She answered honestly, looking back at Autumn. "And I don't wanna get flicked so I'm telling the truth." She put her hands up in surrender to make her point. But then Autumn had tiny fist pompoms and the idea of her being a cheerleader was definitely enough to get Mazie really smiling again. "Never thought I'd have my very own cheerleader. If I was cheerleader-y I'd be yours, but mostly I feel like I'm probably more that kid that follows you around and punches people who look at you the wrong way." She headed to the bed and sat down at the foot of it, pulling her legs up under her. "So that's the point of swimmin' pools? Huh. Never would have guessed. I always thought it was to beat the heat on a ridiculous summer day," She said with a grin.
"I'm good with that." Autumn told her. "Besides, I suffer from an excess of cheer, so I'm really fine with being the only cheerleader. It's possible I need to tone it down sometimes. So you can be that person, I can be the cheerleader, and it's all good!" she decided. She eyed Mazie, sitting up properly. "And by it's all good I mean you're stunning." she complimented.
"Don't do that. Don't...tone down anything. You're amazing as is." But that stunning comment, that one that came out of nowhere? That was hard to take. Mazie didn't tend to put herself in situations where these compliments happened. Any compliments she'd received for..quite a while were all singularly based on her computer skills. Until she got here and Autumn happened. She listened and tried to make it fit easily in her mind, like it was something that she shouldn't question even if she still kind of did. She ended up smiling, shaking her head a little bit. "You gotta give me like..second-flick basis here. I'm still getting used to this stuff, ok? So...don't flick me the first time, let me try and get there on my own. And if it doesn't work, then you can flick me the second time."
Autumn hummed, considered that, before she smirked. "Fine. For now." She decided. Then she stood, and held her hands out to Mazie. "Let's go. We have got a party to start, my sweet!"
"Oh so we're..also starting the party, ok. It's a good thing you have all that cheer then." Hell there was going to be a party. With lots of people in bathing suits, probably all staring at Autumn in her tiny bathing suit. Why couldn't she just keep them here, safe in their tiny bathing suits, in her own room? Mazie stood up, went for Autumn's hand, but then stopped herself and gave a 'one moment' finger to her. "We need towels?" She asked as she lingered at the wardrobe, thinking she might want to grab one of those oversized t-shirts she'd been given as a coverup, but making herself move away from it. She was actually going to do the best she could to get into this mindset where she was stunning and she believed it too.
"I think so!" Autumn said. Then she pondered. "And music. God, there needs to be music." she said, wondering if there was a radio around, or speakers, or if she was going to have to try and haul a desktop computer somewhere or something. Maybe she'd just ask when she announced party time on the computers. "Oh and I have to stop at my room to put up the announcement." she added. "Since I was slightly too excited to get you into this suit to do that first..."
"I'd say I could probably try and tap into the P.A. systems to get some music going, but there'd have to be P.A. systems there and I'm not sure there are. And it would take a while, the security they have in this place is bonkers." And definitely starting to get under her skin, but she wasn't gonna think about that now. Nope, not while Autumn was dressed like that. "I have a feeling you don't want to wait around for a maybe on the music, so let's get to your room and you can type up the announcement? And I'll finally get to see your room? And I am in the suit and not taking a cover-up t-shirt, so..I think that's a step in the no-flicking direction," She said with a grin.
Autumn looked Mazie up and down appreciatively, and nodded with a little whistle. "Oh, it's definitely a step in the right direction." she told her firmly. Then she headed for the door, opening it with a flourish. "To my room! Where we can announce things, and you can poke around in there all you want!"
Mazie glanced back at Autumn and fought the initial urge to roll her eyes and blow off the compliment-whistle combo. It was still strange, but that didn't make it any less nice to hear, especially coming from Autumn. She ended up smiling at the girl, reaching to thread her fingers through Autumn's and head towards the hallway. That they were both going to walk down in bathing suits. Yeah, she was definitely going to be keeping an eye out for other people in here. She was having a hard enough time with herself in a swimsuit, she wasn't gonna be happy seeing other people ogle Autumn. And that had to be a surefire thing since the girl was drop dead gorgeous.
"I just want to see the space where you lay your head and hang out. Still haven't seen it yet." Maybe this was an opportunity, too. "...And then you can tell me about all the stuff you'd want to put in your room if you could. Like decorations and furnishings and stuff." And through that, maybe she could find something to request for Autumn.
Autumn laughed. "I'd have to wrack my brain." she said, getting them to room 17. Opening it up, she got inside, smiling as she let Mazie in too. She dropped down behind her computer and typed up two posts, one for the party, the other requesting music in public areas.
Autumn's room was a room full of personal touches, as much as was allowed currently. She had photographs many places, some with her in them, smiling with other people. There were a few shots that were clearly her parents, some with her when she was a little girl.
The pictures were definitely a nice touch. Mazie didn’t have any pictures of her, really. All of them had been stored on a computer she was never going to get back, stuck somewhere in an evidence locker very far away. But Autumn’s pictures drew her closer and she was smiling as she examined an image of a small Autumn with her parents. “You were an adorable kid,” She said, looking back around the room. “Which of these pictures is your favorite?” The small comforts of the room were nice, but Mazie was curious about something. Examining another picture, she asked, “Do you like flowers?”
Autumn glanced over her shoulder and smiled. "Thanks." she said. Then she eyed her photographs, and eventually shook her head. "I don't think I could choose a favorite." she said. "Every one is an experience, and each one had it's ups and downs. They all added to my life, so I wouldn't be able to pick one moment over another." she decided. "Which, I'm sure doesn't help, but there's the answer. As for flowers, yes." she said with a firm nod. "All kinds."
Flowers, check. That was something she could definitely request. Mazie didn't know a whole lot of flowers, but she knew there were roses and she knew there were other kinds, like lillies and stuff. The fancier flowers she wasn't actually aware of but maybe she'd start off requesting some daisies for Autumn. She'd always been fond of daisies and she figured that maybe they would be an unoffensive flower smell-wise, unlike other flowers. And maybe the Powers That Be would let her request more when those daisies died. "Good to know," Mazie said as she slowly walked along the room, studying each picture. "...We should take a picture together."
"We should!" Autumn said. "Maybe I'll request a camera. Someone should, at any rate." she decided. "If nothing else, it'd be something fun to do while we're stuck here. Eventually I'll bet we get bored, and need to make our own fun."
"That seems to be what Leandro is planning. Sort of...gave him the idea of requesting a camcorder to record harmless pranks. But I'm apparently the videographer so I won't let him play any pranks on you," She promised, looking back at Autumn with a small smile. "Still, a camera just for us to take pictures would be nice."
"Ooh, making a little mischief, my pretty?" Autumn asked, batting her eyelashes. Then she hopped up. "Well, I'll request one sometime soon here! So we can, in fact, have a camera of our own. It'll be great." she said warmly. "Now, we ready to get this party started?"
