That hadn't occurred to him, but now that Reggie had pointed it out, he couldn't get it out of his head. "Good point. It'd be kind of hard to run anywhere when you have no clue which direction to start running."
Reggie certainly was open about everything. Most people in prison that were that willing to talk about what they had done were the ones that were bragging about it. Those were always ones to watch. This seemed different though. But that didn't mean he was going to be that open. Not about that.
So instead, he concentrated on the rest of what Reggie had said. "Yeah, I imagine it would make your job easier. I bet sometimes, they might as well have just handed you the keys." He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he continued. "But yeah, I'm kind of a night owl too, and I know it has a lot to do with the fact that I worked the night shift the first couple of years I was with the fire department."
