Jason glanced down at his hands again, studying them for a second before shrugging. "I've had worse. I'm pretty sure I'll live," he said, unable to fully stop the grin that was tugging at his lips. He wasn't sure why it was, but for some reason, he found this man amusing.
So Reggie was new as well. That was interesting. And raised a few more questions. Like why hadn't he been dropped off when he and Brady had? And... No, he wasn't going to start asking himself those unanswerable questions again. Instead, he was going to try and do a better job with this one than he had with Brady. Hell, if nothing else, Reggie seemed like he'd be easier to make friends with.
"I just got here today too. Or well, yesterday, I guess. Just a couple of hours before you." Moving away from the bag, he made his way over to one of the benches lining the wall and took a seat before he finally gave into his curiosity. "If you don't mind me asking," he began, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees, "where were you before this?" Because he and Brady hadn't even been incarcerated in the same state, and he was curious to see if Reggie had been yet somewhere else entirely.
