◊ W E A T H E R ◊ Today is a cloudy, overcast day. Rain threatens throughout the day, but never materialises.

A new level has been added to the facility! Accessible only via the elevator, it is a basement level. The panel with the level buttons has been replaced overnight and the new panel has a ‘B’ button showing beneath the '1' and '2'.
The basement level is little more than a wide corridor, with doors down the left hand side. The first door is marked ‘medical facility’, the second ‘laundry’. There are other doors further down, but these are all currently inaccessible (it is not possible for any character to get through these doors).
The medical facility is small, but well equipped. It has a numerical keypad lock. There is a main treatment area with a curtained off examination table. There are two desks, kitty corner to each other, each equipped with a computer. There are also a number of additional chairs.
There are four doors leading off the main treatment area. The one in the side wall also has a numerical keypad lock and this leads through to a store room and small pharmacy. The other three doors are in the back wall and lead to individual patient rooms, for private treatment and equipped with beds, monitors etc for overnight stay.
The laundry is just that - several washing machines and a number of driers. There are also a number of irons, ironing boards etc. A cupboard holds a variety of different powders, fresheners, stain removers and some clothing dyes for a variety of cloth. Baskets for clothes are provided. There is a long table down the middle of the room with chairs down each side. In one corner, a smaller cupboard holds supplies for mending clothes.
On Level One of the facility, one of the previously locked rooms has also been opened. In this large room is a swimming pool. It is rectangular in shape and has six lanes marked at the bottom. It is 25m in length. At one end, there is a sprung diving board (and the pool is deep enough for that to be able to be used safely). The room is lit with daylight lights, and around the edge are padded sun loungers. A small storeroom off the side holds a variety of floatation devices.
Left in the cafeteria are several racks of swimwear, for both men and women, in a variety of sizes and styles. There are at least three or four different suits available for each resident (though not all will be to their personal taste).
◊ C O M M U N I C A T I O N S ◊ Everyone receives the same message today:
Good morning.
We hope you slept well. Please note that the alcohol which you consumed last night has not been replaced.
Please ensure that you check your updated Facility plans today. You will notice some improvements. Some of these are the result of requests highlighted by your fellow residents. One is as a reflection of a good standard of behavior to date. We hope this will continue.
There are also some supplies you may find necessary provided in the cafeteria.

Please find your way to the new basement level. There you will find the promised facility. The code is the same as the one for the box. If the code is compromised, please immediately inform us and we will arrange for it to be changed. If you wish to share the code with anyone, then you may. You, however, remain responsible for the medical facility and its contents. We suggest that you may wish to inform Nurse MacKenzie. We have ensured that there is equipment enough for two.
You will find that all of your requests for equipments have been supplied, save that we have not been able to supply the requests polysomnogram. We have provided you with equipment to carry on most testing on site. If you require further more specialised tests, we have provided a box by the elevator on the basement level. This has the same keypad code. Please put any vials, clearly marked, in this box and the tests will be conducted and the results sent to your computer.
