Wren watched the reactions from, well, everyone, and immediately latched onto the idea that she'd said something wrong. Or, at the very least, something that people had a strong response to.
She felt slightly overwhelmed, as she wanted to know where Leandro's sentence ended with the 'I was', and felt she probably should know, with what else he shared, but she was a little confused. She did manage to give him a light smile to assure him she was fine, she didn't want to leave yet, even if she was entirely unsure how she was meant to be 'entertaining' people. She was just sitting there, wasn't she? She couldn't possibly be that interesting, plus it seemed that the three boys were far more interested in speaking amongst each other than to her. But at least she knew people's names, now.
It was Adam's reaction that had her looking upset. Her face fell, and she looked at him. "I am so very sorry if I've said something wrong." she told him, feeling positive that she'd done just that. "I didn't mean to. If you tell me what was wrong, I will do my best not to do it again." she promised, feeling terrible for making him look like that.
