Tilting her head, Becka listened to the correction and elaboration. She supposed that New York just sounded like a very complicated place to live. She frowned at his admission that he'd seen essentially all the bad things about it, though she realized that hearing stories like that in a place like this really shouldn't surprise her. She needed to stop forgetting that everyone here were convicted criminals regardless of true guilt or innocence or justification of their crimes. As he continued, though, she found herself smiling, nodding in agreement. "Well, hopefully if the end game of this place is as they said, you'll get a chance to see all those things you want to see again. And if I ever do make it to New York, I'll just have to make sure to have a knowledgeable tour guide," she quipped lightly. She didn't think she was brave enough to go exploring a place like that on her own.
