Re: Jason and Reggie
Jason shrugged as he took another sip of his drink. "I know. But it's not exactly logical. So let me finish this, and then I'll join you." While Reggie had a point there, and most people probably weren't going to be paying any attention to them, Jason had to grin slightly at the last part of what Reggie said. That was something he couldn't just let go, and he rolled his eyes even as he leaned lightly against the other man, more for the contact than anything else. "I'm not sure, but I think you might be a little biased there. I think there are others here who would argue."
"Works for me," Reggie said, leaning his hip against the table as he relaxed. He didn't mind that Jason needed a drink to loosen up a tad. Hey, that's what drinks were made for, right? He then reached up and brushed his fingers against Jason's arm. "I have no problem admitting that I have a bias," he pointed out. "Doesn't make it any less true."
Jason smiled slightly, both in response to the touch, as well as Reggie's easy admittance of his bias. "Oh, I agreed, but then, I'm biased too," he said, surveying the other people that had come. Finishing up his drink, he put the glass on the table, before turning back towards Reggie. "Come on. Let's do this before I change my mind."
Reggie had no problem admitting that he had a bias. Hell, that was kind of fun to admit, now that he thought about it. Laughing, he finished his drink and set it down on the table as well. "Alright then! Let's get this done."
Curling his fingers around the other man's wrist, Jason gently tugged the other man in the direction of the dance floor. He might still not be all that comfortable with dancing, but he had made up his mind, and he was going to try and enjoy this. Of course, if Reggie was even half as good as he claimed, that shouldn't be too difficult. And even if he wasn't, this was a chance to relax, have fun, and enjoy getting to do something almost approaching normal together. He sure as hell wasn't going to waste this chance just because he thought dancing was awkward.
