Re: Ru and Cassandra
Ru didn't point out that she hadn't asked for anything in return. The fact that she was putting it out there she would let stand. It would mean she was owed, and she was cool with that. In the end she shrugged. "Okay then, have a good time tonight. Good luck with the boys." she said, turning to leave yet again.
Part of Cassandra wanted to just let this woman go, but then she caught a glimpse of Hunter in her peripheral vision and she reached out a hand. “Fine. Stop. Tell me.”
"That's better." Ru said, turning back to Cassandra. "You need to get hurt. It needs to be a mystery attacker--not something too hard to do since we've had some already--and you need to be hurt bad enough that you need help. So, better sign yourself up for pain, but that's the first step. You have to give them both a reason to be genuinely concerned about you. We had a rape that was never solved you could always embellish your story there, too, to add an extra dimension. If you do they'd not only feel the need to help you but possibly protect you. Once they're in on that, you need to be repentant of what you did. Tell them that you never meant for it to go that way, possibly that you couldn't stop loving both of them, or whatnot, but make sure you're claiming blame for everything. Tell them you really just want them back in your life, that it's an empty place without them. But this time, you want to be up front with both of them. You never meant to cause the brothers to hate each other either, et cet era. After that you can do whatever you want, but that's the template to get them back in your court."
Cassandra listened, frowning while she thought. She wasn’t a stranger to pain. Prison had taught her that one the hard way. “I might need help with the ‘attack’,” she said, but not discounting the idea, eyes flicking from Hayden to Hunter then back to Ru. “Provided they don’t get distracted with trying to kill whoever hurt me I can the see merit behind it.”
"It's up to you to get them to leave that to the authorities." Ru said. "As for the attack, I'm sure we can arrange something." she said. "We'll be in touch." She saw Adam looking for her, and she waved to Cassandra. "Have a good night." she said, heading back to Adam.
