Edan watched his hands carefully, intrigued by how he was able to move them, and manipulate the balloon without popping it. The joke made her smile, biting her lip again to keep it in check as she shrugged. "I suppose a little premature, but I wouldn't hold it against you."
When he offered up the dog she took it, smiling again, though this time it broke from behind the bit lip with a nod. "I will do my best," she said making a point of patting its head. It was cute, different, but cute. The doctor wasn't at all what she expected. She couldn't pinpoint her expectations, but he'd exceeded whatever they might have been.
