"But I will join you in practice once I have seen the rhythm you follow," he went on, steadying his breathing to slow the rise and fall of the eclipsed sun tattooed over his heart.
Wu had rarely done this sort of thing, aside from those kickboxing pointers and a bit of Tai Chi with them, but he was familiar enough with it that he felt confident in joining Carmel. He had questions in his mind and on his tongue, but Wu was a patient man; they could both bleed off some energy before the asking.
