"It's a very long time," he agreed softly, head tilting back just slightly, his eyes faintly hooded at the thought for just a moment. This place was some sort of demented candy store and it was already starting to drive him crazy.
Ryan caught the tell-tale flush of her skin, since she was pale and hadn't quite turned fast enough. He smirked broadly to himself, pleased to have ruffled her smooth self-containment. She had retreated, but he followed quietly, wanting to push a bit now. He came up behind her, close enough to feel her body heat but not touching, splaying a hand lightly over her lower back and letting his breath brush her neck.
"But if that's not your thing, well, I think you're missing out," he murmured in that same soft tone.
