"Good morning," Ryan greeted the woman, glancing over and giving her a warm enough smile. Ah, god, it was so good to have women around again. And in so many varieties, he thought, noting her slimness and the grace in her step, as well as the perky little bounce that had his brain clicking away a little in a recognition he didn't quite place yet, though he would probably make the connection at some point. Yes, it was still morning, he verified by looking at the clock read out on the stove.
"If you want any biscuits, I'm warming mine up now and can do some for you as well," he offered, prefering to be noted as a helpful, friendly person for the moment. Though it was taking some adjustment from his attitudes at prison, he had always been flexible, adjusting himself to the people around him to fit in the best he could.
