It was an ugly wound, poorly healed and rough in its' path, and Cal didn't have to guess over how it landed there. Leaning in to get a better look, Cal nodded to himself as he studied the scar, then looked back to Matt. "I know it's no comfort, but you're probably lucky this didn't do more damage. Or I'm guessing as much, if there's no complications you're still dealin' with," Cal said as he withdrew.
"Now, dependin' on what kind of setup I get to work with, we could try a few things here. Minimizin' scar tissue, runnin' a sweep of scans to make sure there's no internal risks, but any of that's gonna be up to you. You let me know what you want me to try and you've got my word that I'll give it my all, dig?" he asked, putting out an air of accommodation.
