Chuckling, Eric nodded his head, appearing unfazed by the distinction. "Yeah, I know. Never said they weren't lessons, just unofficial ones," he clarified good-naturedly. He finished off the last of his orange and went to toss the peel in the garbage. He glanced back at Reggie, taking a drink of his coffee before returning to where he'd been leaning against the counter before. "Yeah, I've never had a car, though," he admitted with a shrug. His parents hadn't been able to afford one for him, and after he'd started dealing all his money had gone toward other things. He'd just gotten rides with friends or relied on public transportation. Whatever worked, right? "But yeah, couldn't hurt to learn a new skill. Not much else to do around here, after all."
