Slice of life game with no bullshit?

I'd love to work something original out, PB only, where plot/ story/ writing is the focus. I'm not against sex, but I'd prefer that not be the focus. I'm also not really interested in all the extras. I just want to get down to basics and write.

Idea: I've noticed quite a few comments on here from people who are having difficulty finding a new game - who want supernatural themed games - who miss the good ole days when everything was a flurry of activity and writing and fun IC character interaction and banter. WELL, I MISS IT TOO. So I was wondering if anyone would like to brainstorm some ideas for beginning such a game. I have a character (vampire) that is potentially my absolute favorite character I've ever created in my entire life and I severely miss writing him with others but I desperately need a partner (or partners) since plotting isn't exactly my strongest aspect although I do have some ideas...

If there's a bunch of people interested in Duran Duran, we could get something going there. I used to run a Duran Duran in Vampyre: The Masquerade scenario back in the day.

NOTE: We are still tweaking things, but we feel it is enough built to start taking on holds. The Rules and FAQ won't change unless someone suggests something with the passing of the days. The premise won't change either.

So the things we are working on, are mainly technical. I think the only 1 important thing we need to add to the list of creatures/ species. Is their weaknesses. But asides that, it's pretty much ready to go!

Idea: Right now, the idea that has really been nagging at me is some kind of fix-it where Pike didn't die (I understand the plot-based reasons why he had to go, but he deserved better, imho). I'm willing to play Pike or Jim in this particular idea. But I am open to other ideas as well! I am slash-friendly, but I prefer my porn to have plot attached.
