The past is prologue, and all past events have led to this moment.
After the Chitauri Invasion, after HYDRA's dismantlement of SHIELD, after Extremis--the one-time, rag-tag team known as the Avengers find themselves back in New York under varying circumstances.
Maybe the second time around, this Avengers initiative thing will stick.
But even as the Avengers begin to find their footing, SHIELD is still in triage mode, HYDRA casts an ever lengthening shadow over the world's political climate, and somewhere beyond the galaxies and realms lurks a threat greater than anyone can conceive.
Set after the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and season one of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Past Prologue is a Marvel Cinematic Universe rpg that aims to explore how the Avengers come together as an official superhero group and the consequences that can result. |
