Now, in 2000, the world has adjusted to his regime. Muggleborns are stripped of their rights. Muggle-hunting is a sport enjoyed by many pureblood families. And after the death of Albus Dumbledore during the Battle of Hogwarts in 1980, while the Order of the Phoenix remains, they are in tatters. The Death Eaters are in control, and no one openly opposes them. No one.

 | It is now August, of 1997, and the Ministry has had a complete overhaul; Harry Potter is the main suspects in the murder of Albus Dumbledore, Minister Scrimgeour has resigned his post, and with a new Minister in charge the Ministry smoothly and silently transitions into a new era. Yet, as the Trio disappear on the search for the Horcruxes, the world does not stand still. Instead, things are getting progressively worse as Hogwarts faces a new Headmaster, Professors and the oppression of a Ministry intent on putting across their agenda.
For those outside the walls, things aren't much better with the introduction of the Muggleborn Registration Committee, and the rapid criminalization of Muggleborns as the Ministry intends to bring about the golden age of wizard kind. Those in the middle remain unaffected, but for how long? The time to start choosing sides is now, or all may be lost forever...
