We open with 15 applications. 5/15 applications pending!
Die Fighting is a mob-esque RPG based in the Bay Area of California. The three main affiliations are: The Sons of Silence (bikers), The Marsala Family (mafia) and the Wakayama Family (Japanese mafia). Positions range from civilians, cops, FBI agents, bikers, members of the Yakuza and Mafia.
Crime rates within our cities are at a record high and our boys in blue can't seem to keep up. For decades, the Bay Area has lived in a slight realm of peace. Many of us just ignored the hows and whys, but now we're asking "What the H is going on?". Is this gang related? Drugs? Where have our unsung heroes gone and why have they left us to fend for ourselves?

It's not easy being a New Yorker. But following the wake of two world wars, the rebuilt city of New York stands tall once again. Some say that the richest are reaching for heaven, while the poorest live deep down below in the slums. But even deeper down, more people live in a city underground. Such is life in 2461.
The world as we know it, is mostly gone. Forever divided between a distinction between human and the super powered, also known as Tanks, and two more world wars, responsible for destroying old boundaries and laws, the citizens of Earth have bonded together against a common enemy of their own creation; the Tanks. But even united through a common fear for Tanks and diversion towards super powers, most people aren't even aware that Tanks are still used for scientific research. No wonder, you'll finally say, that they're still acting out.
Augustus Moselle is credited as the father of the Tanks and has gone down in history as the man who decided to play God and give evolution a hard shove up the ass. And Humanity has paid the price ever since. | THE APPLICATION || THE SITE MAP || THE CAST LIST & HOLDS || WANTED | |

Men of Marvel |

House of M transformed the Marvel Universe forever; even when it was undone, things never went back exactly the same way as before. Of course, that's what happened to Earth-616. Over on Earth-69, things went a little differently. Instead of "No more mutants," the fateful words that changed the universe were "No more women."
The magic took that rather literally, turning every woman into a man and erasing everyone's memory that something strange had happened. The men of the world just went right along doing what they'd always done: getting drunk, having sex, starting fights, and living out their lives day after day. The whole world was one big locker room.
Eventually, however, they got fed up with mutants and metahumans. After a bloody conflict, the humans banished them to an island nation to keep the peace. When they did, they wound up creating the best set-up for long days and nights of fun and frolicking in a tropical paradise the world had ever seen. |

After several failed attempts to make a "laptop compyuter" run on magic rather than electricity, Committee on Experimental Charms and the Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office decided to build from the ground up what would eventually become the prototype version of the tablet. With the tablets, wizards could still write normally as they had been for years, but with added features that were not present on the journal network -- the Internet.
But with any new technology comes a new world of problems. Anyone can post anything they want online and the Daily Prophet and Witch Weekly are finding it hard to compete with these amateur journalists. Anyone and everyone can find a blog via a search engine, making privacy a thing of the past and putting jobs in danger if you've forgotten to ward. The speed and ease of Wiznet has attracted self-starters and hell raisers, professionals and new graduates, to use it for good, for evil, or for anonymous fun without a pesky thing like consequences... right?
Welcome to the future of wizarding communications. Welcome to WizNet.
