| epistolium |  | Taking the helm after the hugely popular Headmistress McGonagall retired, Headmaster Heavensbee had to start off the 2023-2024 school year with a bang. He had to distinguish himself in some way, set the tune for how his administration was going to run things. He spent the summer doing research, thinking and planning. What he came up with is what he has deemed the Penpal Project. It is based upon a muggle tradition of exchanging letters with someone you don't know. In an effort to increase House unity, Headmaster Heavensbee has assigned all the students anonymous penpals in other Houses, with whom they will be required to correspond during the year. Some students are curious, some are irritated, but what's clear is that it's going to make for an interesting year. Epistolium is a next-gen, canon-compliant RPG set in 2023, with an emphasis on building CR (due to a combination of optional blurbs, the penpal project, and required storylines, new characters can enter the game with more than six lines ready to play!). GIANT LEAP
Humans have always dreamt and dreamt big. For an entire millennia there were talks and dreams of what was out there - Life on other planets, new worlds to explore and the other fascinating mysteries about the wonders of space, but no one knew for sure.
Everyone wanted to know the answers of the universe.
On July 20th 1969 the very first human stepped onto the Moon's surface with the famous quote, "This is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". Yet, by the time the new century came around, it looked as if there would be no more advancement in space exploration and for a while the answers of space seemed too far for them to reach.
That was until the great discovery in the year 2019, when a group of scientists discovered a way to create and maintain artificial gravity, leading to the construction of a space station powered by this artificial gravity. Eventually, in the year 2035 the artificial gravity was successfully used in the construction of the first habitable city on the Moon and not long after that Mars.
The year is now 2353 and mankind has been in space for over three hundred years. In that time they have made many discoveries, a fair amount good and some not so. Humans have also managed to create many colonies outwith the Sol system and are now widely known across the galaxy.
A year ago when the galaxy thought they had found everything, humans discovered their first species of alien that had never been discovered before by anyone. That was the latest greatest achievement for mankind and they are not planning to stop there.

How much are you willing to sacrifice?
In this day and age, school is everything. You can’t get into the best jobs or careers, it seems, without a degree of some sort. But, all those degrees cost money and leave most people up to their eyeballs in debt. What if you could get an education for free? What would you do? How much would you sacrifice to attend one of the most respected universities in the country? Would you be willing to sacrifice it all to earn a degree?
Pearson is a modern slave/master rpg that takes place at an elite private college, Pearson University. Formerly a college accessible only to the wealthy and social elite, known as the Superiore class, it has recently opened it's doors to scholarship students, known as the Inferiore class. However, in exchange for admittance, the Inferiore students must be willing to submit to the Superiore students.
