SINESTRO
At the end of the world, the stars went dark.

Astronomers were baffled; never in recorded history had so many stars disappeared so quickly. Some thought it signaled the end of the world, some thought it was only just another part of the cycle of the universe, but for all their studies of the phenomenon, an answer always remained out of reach.

And then the world's heroes started to disappear with them, across time, across space, from Krypton to Venus and everything in between. Then the villains. And then one by one regular people turned up missing as well. No farewell notes, no last goodbyes-- it was like the mystery of Roanoke only without even a single word carved into a tree as a clue to where they'd gone.

Our story picks up in a new city, one like those you might remember and yet not, filled with a multitude of unmemorable bodies and now, of late, the disappeared. No-one knows why they're here, what the purpose of this all is, if there is any at all, or even where "here" is, but one thing they do know is they can't leave.

Welcome to Metro City.

For almost four months, the Orient Express has been designated a run-away. While the staff and designers are working diligently to retrieve their rogue express, the train itself is thwarting their plans. How, after all, do you track down a single train that can be anywhere, anywhen, in any number of realities across all the known verses? It’s a great big space out there, and they can’t search it all.

Meanwhile, the train is certainly giving the passengers a ride. From hallucinogenic gases to a murderer on board, to realities where there’s no breathable air to worlds that contain things of legend and mythos, the passengers are helpless to direct the run away train and must simply hang on and adapt as well as they can.

Between cabin fever, clashing personalities, and on-board shenanigans that don’t exactly bring a grin to everyone’s face, the passengers are forced to contend with situations outside of their daily norm. Future meets past, magic clashes with technology, and everyone is tangled up in the ever-changing environment of the train. Are you brave enough to come along for the ride?

______

Orient Express is a relatively quickly paced panfandom game set aboard a time-traveling, reality-hopping luxury train. The game’s been running strong since its opening in November of 2011.

Doors: Seeking Heroes
A hero is no braver than an ordinary man.

Las Vegas. America’s Sin City, where decadence is on the menu at every meal, and where every vice can be had for a price. It’s no surprise, then, that when the doors to fiction opened, they chose to do so in this place, where the fairytale lights obscure a world gone dark with desire. Here, the heroes of fiction face the challenge of their own demons. Superman patrols the skies of Metropolis. Jon Snow stands firm at the head of the Night’s Watch. Sherlock Holmes picks through London for sordid clues. Sirius Black faces the wizarding world he left behind in death. Captain America prepares for the war that is always coming.

The heroes of fiction await in the Passages Hotel. They’re contained for now to the minds of their hosts, to the doors they inhabit, the worlds they dream of making better places. But what will happen when that all changes?

Will your hero be strong enough to resist?

Seeking Heroes From: Hunger Games, Sherlock Holmes, Batman, Superman, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Avengers, X-Men, Inception, American Horror Story.
